What you'll do

In this dynamic role, you'll be the driving force behind the Senior Director's office, managing priorities, coordinating confidential projects, and keeping everything running smoothly. You'll take ownership of diary and email management, organise meetings and travel, and liaise confidently across all levels of Queensland Health and beyond.

Each day will bring variety as you assess and action critical correspondence, support key projects, and help shape efficient processes that make a real impact. Working both independently and as part of a high-performing team, you'll balance competing priorities, solve problems on the go, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, professional outcomes for the Branch

  • s:Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and provide executive support administrative, human resource and project support functions associated with the operation of the office of a senior or executive office
  • r.Demonstrated high level attention to detail, interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with staff from all levels of Queensland Health, senior government departments, other agencies and with members of the public on a range of sensitive issue
  • s.Highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to accommodate continually shifting priorities in a high-pressure work environment, maximise efficiency and work outpu
  • t.Demonstrated proficiency in the use of contemporary computerised systems, including Microsoft Office applications and quickly learn new system application
  • s.Demonstrated ability to work in a team and autonomously and use initiative in the absence of decision-makers to establish work priorities, meet deadlines and contribute to continuous improvement practice
