About our client
Our client is a well-established and respected public practice accounting firm in Darwin and they are seeking an experienced and driven Tax & Business Services Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a strong client portfolio and be part of a collaborative and supportive work environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Directors, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outcomes for clients, managing and growing a portfolio, and supporting the development of junior team members. You will also be actively involved in business improvement initiatives and contribute to the

firm's continued success.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Deliver accurate, high-quality client outcomes within agreed timeframes
  • Build strong client relationships and manage expectations effectively
  • Grow your portfolio and fee base through excellent client service and business development activities
  • Ensure compliance with QA policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
  • Contribute to business improvement projects and initiatives
  • Mentor and review the work of staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Manage WIP and billings to achieve office targets
  • Monitor personal performance against financial KPIs

About You

  • Member of CA, CPA, or equivalent professional body
  • Minimum of five years' full-time experience in a similar role
  • Broad knowledge of accounting and general financial management principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced numeracy skills with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work
