About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join PointsBet as a Client Account Manager. Reporting to the Head of VIP, we are looking for a smart, capable and focused Account Management professional who excels in their ability to manage clients' accounts while creating repour and trust within the brand. As a PointsBet Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing valued and loyal clients through face-to-face contact, calls and emails with your clients.

All your work will focus on delivering consistent and well thought out management to ensure your clients receive the best possible service within the industry. This role is ideally suited to an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with ability to quickly and easily develop relationships, who has a strong personal interest in sports, horse racing and wagering and is looking to develop a career within the industry

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with new and existing high value clients to determine their existing and future business needs.
  • Understand the client's objectives, buying criteria and decision-making process and forming long-term partnerships with individuals.
  • Actively and successfully manage the assigned accounts from start to finish including managing and maintaining your relationship, ensuring all enquiries are followed through.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within your client base and collaborate with the premium team to ensure maximum growth.
  • Present innovative business solutions to potential clients through direct communication i.e. face-to-face meetings, telephone calls and/or via sms/email.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products, in line with customer needs and objectives.
  • Hosting clients at industry events.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive sales.
  • Analysis of client behaviours and overall value to the business
  • Proactively manage the Responsible Gambling practices of our customer
  • Setting up client specific offers and see though from concept to execution

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in Account Management (within a similar or relevant industry).
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels within the business are essential.
  • A willingness to represent the company and host clients at events and sporting events (day/night - weekend work is required)
  • Experience within the gaming and/or wagering industry is highly regarded.
  • Exceptional listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience in a sales role (ideally wagering).
  • The initiative to go above and beyond and act on opportunities in a timely manner.
  • A willingness to learn, harnessed with a proactive personality and a good work ethic are equally vital.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving KPI targets (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.)
  • Client focused i.e. committed to delivering innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to clients needs.
  • Demonstrates empathy and understanding within the work environment – expressing opinions appropriately, listening to the message being delivered, and appropriately managing errors and possible conflicts.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time, under challenging circumstances
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the quality of work produced; ensuring excellence and always seeking ways to improve output.
  • Drive and determination to continuously develop one's own skills and competencies to assist the continued/ongoing growth and success of PointsBet.
