About the Role

We are seeking two highly motivated Reach Stacker Operators to join our team at Intermodal Group, one position based at our Kenwick terminal and the other at the Port of Fremantle (North Quay). These are permanent, full-time (38 hours a week) positions, rostered across 7 days, overtime available most days.

As a Reach Stacker Operator, you will be responsible for container movements in a high-volume, high-turnover rail terminal, servicing 3-4 trains daily, alongside numerous truck container operations. This role requires proficiency in operating heavy forklifts and reach stackers, ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe handling of containers.

Our Kenwick terminal operates from 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM, while our North Quay terminal runs 24/7. These roles require a strong commitment to a structured roster and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You will need the ability to:

  • Operate 45T Reach Stackers and other heavy forklifts efficiently and safely.
  • Work unsupervised while completing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a high-turnover rail terminal.
  • Maintain accurate records of container movements using iPads and our operating system.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment, ensuring precision and safety at all times.
  • Follow safety regulations and contribute to a safe working culture.

What You Will Bring
