About the Role

Are you an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter looking for your next opportunity in the mining sector? Chandler Macleod is partnering with a leading Tier 1 mining operator to find a skilled and safety-focused tradesperson to join their high-performing maintenance team

This is a FIFO role from Perth, working on a dynamic 8/6:7/7 days and nights roster**. You'll be responsible for keeping a world-class mobile equipment fleet running at peak performance

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance on mobile mining equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults on a range of heavy diesel machinery
  • Perform inspections, servicing, and parts replacement as required
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site and company procedures
  • Field service and breakdown experience highly regarded

About You

  • Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate
  • Current C-Class Driver's Licence
  • National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
  • Proven experience with Komatsu 830E trucks, Komatsu Loaders WD900, CAT auxiliary equipment, and Dozers D11 highly advantageous
  • Additional licences such as Forklift and Dogging tickets will be well regarded
  • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
