BCG ANZ is growing and we are seeking experienced consultants to join our Technology & Digital Advantage team at the Project Leader level. Qualified individuals will play a critical role in enriching project work and bringing forward-thinking solutions to clients across a wide range of sectors including public sector, industrial goods, consumer and retail, energy, telecommunications, financial institutions and more. Ideal candidates will have previous management consulting experience and demonstrated leadership in growing client relations, people and knowledge development.
What You'll Do
As a Project Leader, you will partner with leading companies to shift mindsets, shape agendas, and create value through digital transformation programs. Sitting within our consulting business, you will focus on key digital subject matter. The work you do every day-going deep to uncover key insights and reimagine business models-will enable our clients to compete in today's fast-paced environment and accelerate into the digital future. As you immerse yourself in new challenges across a range of Technology and Digital topics, you will develop close relationships with senior clients and BCG leadership, and play a central role in work that has a lasting impact on companies, industries, and society.
What You'll Bring
- 6-10+ years' experience in a strategy, management or technology consultancy; digital/tech start-up and/or industry experience aligned to Public Sector, Financial Institutions, Industrial Goods, Consumer and Retail and/or Energy
- Breadth and depth across IT/Digital Strategy and Transformation, CIO Advisory, Operating Models, Data & Analytics, Technology Architecture, Operational Technology (OT) and IoT
- Experience leading and managing high performing case/project teams
- Experience driving business development, presales, proposal development through to client presentations
- Thrive in a hypothesis-based environment and ability to frame strategic challenges from a digital/tech perspective
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability and conceptual thinking
- Excellent communication, story-lining, client facing and consulting skills
- Strategic mindset, presence and senior gravitas
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree, preferably in an IT/Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
- Flexibility to travel interstate or international as required
- Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain an AGSVA clearance
Who You'll Work With
As a senior Technology and Digital BCGer you will be part of BCG teams that partner with leading companies to shift mindsets, shape agendas, and create value through technology and digital transformation programs. The work you do every day—going deep to uncover key insights and reimagine business models—will enable our clients to compete in today's fast-paced environment and accelerate into the digital future. You'll leverage your prior experience and continuously build both a comprehensive consulting skillset and technology and digital expertise by working on a mix of technology and digital and traditional BCG client cases.
- Digital Transformation & Strategy: Helping clients rethink the impact of technology (including AI) on their business and accelerate their transformation efforts.
- Technology Platforms: Designing next gen technology platforms that combine smart business layer, data layer and core layers
- Data & Digital Platform (DDP): Enabling digital, data, and (Gen)AI transformations at scale
- Cloud: Transform legacy IT infrastructure and operating models toward a cloud-native posture
- Technology & Digital Talent: Transform tech talent to meet the requirements of the '20s and beyond, developing strategies to anticipate, attract, develop, and engage talent
- Ways of Working: Bring new ways of working (e.g., Agile) to clients, creating enterprise-wide capabilities to holistically transform an organisation's operating model and deliver value at scale
- Cyber & Digital Risk: Transform organisations by embedding cyber and digital resilience into business strategy, enabling growth and stability in a constantly evolvng threat landscape
