About the Role

Following our recent success in securing the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) tender, MTC has exciting opportunity for strategic and passionate Regional Manager to join our Employment Services team in the Werribee region.

Reporting to the General Manager of Employment Services, the Regional Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the IEA Program for the region. You will drive business growth, and champion excellence in service delivery for our participants. You will lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement. The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Overseeing the strategic and day-to-day operations of the program across multiple locations, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and exceeded.
  • Developing and implementing regional business plans to drive growth and achieve KPIs.
  • Collaborating with practitioners to co-design and deliver tailored case management services.
  • Building strong relationships with employers, government bodies and community partners that support MTC's business objective and strategic plan.
  • Managing budgets, monitoring performance and addressing operational issues as they arise.
  • Onboarding of new staff and oversee training compliance.
  • Supporting and developing a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
  • Representing MTC at expos, conferences and industry events to build strategic partnerships.
  • Ensuring all operational activities are in compliant with policies, procedures and relevant regulatory and contractual standards.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum six years' experience in employment services, particularly supporting people with disabilities.
  • Lived experience of living with a disability and relevant qualifications are highly regarded.
  • Passion for inclusive employment and supporting people with a disability.
  • Proven ability to grow programs and experience delivering outcome-focused social projects and initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of the IEA program and employment service sector.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to align goals across divisions.
  • Excellent planning, time management and adaptability.
  • Strong networking, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to engage with diverse communities.
  • Strong analytical skills with proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to inspire, lead and manage a high performing team to achieve performance targets
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence in presenting and speaking to diverse audiences.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's licence.
