We're looking for a Marketing and Engagement Officer who brings experience developing, implementing and evaluating strategies to improve health outcomes and improving access to health services and working with clients from diverse backgrounds.

If you're passionate about engaging with stakeholders, client experience, quality improvement, system and creative thinking, innovation, and making real change in the community – you might be just who we're looking for.

What you'll be doing:

  • Using data and the BreastScreen NSW database to plan, implement and evaluate strategies to increase breast screening participation.
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with health services, health care providers, community leaders, and stakeholders across a wide range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Communicating with agility – tailoring your approach to different audiences and ensuring messages are clear, respectful, and impactful.
  • Designing engaging, on-brand promotional materials, that hit the mark across cultures and platforms and reflect BreastSscreen NSW.
  • Supporting quality improvement initiatives by monitoring, evaluating, and refining activities for maximum community impact.
  • Ensuring meticulous attention to detail in all communications, materials, and branding.
  • Help deliver strategies that reduce barriers to screening for everyone, no matter their background. We don't just want people to come once; we want them to feel supported every step of the way

About you:

  • You bring experience in health, education, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience using data and databases to plan, implement and evaluate projects.
  • You're a confident communicator, able to build rapport and trust across different groups.
  • You have proven skills in design and content creation (InDesign,PowerPoint).
  • You thrive in a team environment, value collaboration, and have a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • A keen eye to bring a branding perspective that makes every message impactful and on-brand.
  • Your detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about making a difference through community engagement.
  • You hold a valid NSW driver's licence (P2 or above
