Grounds Staff needed at a Council

A local council in the Inner West area is looking for a parks and garden labourer to join their team.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining beautiful public spaces for the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • * Maintain and enhance the appearance of parks, gardens, and public spaces..
  • Operate mowing equipment, brush cutters, and other tools.
  • Perform landscaping, planting, pruning, and general grounds maintenance.
  • Assist with maintenance of outdoor facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and council procedures.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field is essential.
- A valid driving licence and white card are essential.
- Ability to operate gardening tools and machinery safely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
