Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Ethium Full time $200,000 - $250,000 per year

Chief of Staff – Ethium

Base: $180,000 + Incentive Structure

Ethium is redefining the way capital connects. Guided by our Charter and our unwavering commitment to ethics, we operate on a foundation of
trust, transparency, and long-term partnership
. Our
5 C's — Character, Competence, Commitment, Connection, and Consistency —
underpin everything we do, ensuring that clients, investors, and partners experience integrity at every touchpoint.

The Chief of Staff will serve as the Managing Director's right hand, orchestrating execution across Ethium's capital raising mandates and the growth of
The Nest
technology platform. This is a mission-critical role requiring both high-level strategy and on-the-ground delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
Embed Ethium's Charter and 5 C's into daily execution, leading operational cadence across client mandates, investor campaigns, and platform milestones.
  • Strategic Execution:
Translate vision into delivery by driving Ethium's growth plans — from immediate cash generation to long-term scale toward $1T in annual placements.
  • Client & Investor Interface:
Ensure our ethical charter and 5 C's are evident in every client and investor interaction, reinforcing Ethium's reputation for integrity and performance.
  • Team Management:
Recruit, mentor, and coordinate a high-performance team that embodies Ethium's cultural values and executes with discipline and consistency.
  • Financial Oversight:
Track and report on revenue, costs, and P&L, ensuring financial health aligns with both short-term operational needs and long-term strategic ambitions.
  • Special Projects:
Lead high-stakes initiatives, from global roadshows and investor summits to technology rollouts, always ensuring alignment with our Charter and ethical standards.

Incentive Framework:

In addition to a
$180,000 base
, the Chief of Staff participates in an incentive program tied to:

  • Net revenue growth and profitability
  • Successful client conversions and investor retention
  • Execution of key milestones across The Nest platform
  • Demonstrated alignment with Ethium's ethics, Charter, and 5 C's

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 7+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, or high-growth environments.
  • A values-driven leader with the ability to balance execution speed with long-term stewardship.
  • Skilled at navigating complexity, building trust, and sustaining high-stakes relationships.
  • Inspired to play a foundational role in scaling one of Australia's most ambitious capital placement and fintech ventures.

At Ethium, success is not just measured by numbers raised, but by the way we uphold our ethics, honor our Charter, and live out our 5 C's. The Chief of Staff role is at the heart of this mission.

Please note you must reply with answers to the 3 below questions or your application will be ignored.

Question 1.
Tell me about a time when you were under pressure to deliver results quickly but faced a situation where the ethical path was slower or riskier. How did you navigate it, and what was the outcome?

Question 2.
Imagine Ethium has committed to onboarding 5 new clients and running 4 roadshows across two countries in the same quarter while continuing to build The Nest platform. How would you design the operational structure, team allocation, and accountability measures to deliver this at scale?

Question 3.
Our 5 C's are Character, Competence, Commitment, Connection, and Consistency. Which of these do you believe is the hardest to demonstrate consistently in a high-growth business, and how would you personally embed it into Ethium's culture as Chief of Staff?
