The Role:

We currently have a new vacancy available for a Grounds Team Lead who will be responsible for delivering Grounds Maintenance works as part of a wider team. You will work at a variety of Sydney Water locations & travel between multiple sites within Western Sydney. This role will also include carrying out regular grounds maintenance activities.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Use of whips and blowers to manage vegetation and debris
  • Operate mower to mow large open sites
  • Assist as required in other grounds maintenance activities
  • Manage delivery of works on site to ensure productivity
  • Complete job information on an iPad, i.e. photographs, work logs, pre-starts & labour entries
  • Perform general maintenance to plant and equipment
  • Ensure all safe work practices are followed.
What you will need:
  • Construction White card
  • Manual Drivers licence is a must
  • Ability to pick up new systems and use an iPad to effectively capture information
  • Flexible approach and a positive attitude
  • A team player
  • Be willing to partake in our on-boarding process which includes pre-employment medicals, reference and qualification checks, online inductions
  • Prior experience in grounds maintenance is required
