QA / QC Officer

Your new company

CME Civil, is a successful local company specialising in Civil construction, is recruiting a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Officer to join our team in Adelaide and support the delivery of multiple projects.

Your new role

You will be reporting to the Company Systems Manager for overseeing the quality of works delivered, ensuring they align with approved drawings and specifications, and that quality documentation is accurately maintained and reported. This is a permanent full-time role based in Adelaide.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Review and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
  • Conduct inspections of works delivered to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards.
  • Identify and report non-conformances and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.
  • Liaise with Site Supervisors, and your manager to ensure quality standards are upheld.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A background in construction will be preferable, but is not essential
  • No Previous experience in a QA/QC role within the construction industry needed
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word and excel).
