POSITION: Social Media Manager/Content Creator

  • Sydney-based contractor (mainly remote role with bi monthly catch-ups in the North Shore area)
  • Part-time (7-10 hours p/w)
  • At least one year experience preferred

Role Description:

This is a part-time contractor position that is mainly remote, with some in person catch ups for meetings, training and content shoots. Please note: These will mainly take place in the Neutral Bay area of Sydney.

The
Social Media Manager/Content Creator
will be responsible for creating social media content, staying on top of platform trends and managing social media accounts.

This role is perfect for someone who loves being in front and behind the camera, offers flexible hours and is ideal for someone looking to build their marketing experience within an agency setting.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Content creation for both our amazing clients and our own socials, must be comfortable in front of the camera
  • Social media management including planning, creating and scheduling content for our clients
  • Creating aesthetic graphics using Canva
  • Video editing
  • Trend research and coming up with campaign ideas
  • Script-writing for UGC projects
  • Communicating with current and prospective clients
  • On-site content filming in Sydney for both our clients and internal campaigns

Qualifications:

No fancy degree necessary, but 1+ years experience working in the social media marketing space and strong proficiency in the mentioned platforms are a must.

Skills of the Ideal Candidate Include:

  • Proficiency in Social Media Management
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong design skills to create aesthetic social media graphics on Canva
  • Comfortable using Capcut, Canva, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
  • Confident creating content both in front and behind the camera
  • Able to create content remotely
  • An eye for aesthetics and passion for creativity
