Accounts Payable Officer | Accounts Officer

Terra Mining is seeking to appoint an Accounts Payable Officer. Based in our West Perth office, this full-time position and is responsible for managing accounts payable, reconciliations and other financial administrative duties as required.

About the role:

Accounts Payable

  • Manage the Accounts Payable inbox & address all queries.
  • Responding to supplier phone calls and emails.
  • Processing high volume of invoices, matching to purchase orders.
  • Distributing for approval, and processing of weekly/end of month payment runs.
  • Reconcile month end statements.
  • Bank payment set ups.
  • Review and verification of supplier statements.
  • Keeping and filing appropriate Accounts Payable records.

Other finance duties

  • Work with the management team & various departments in relation to best practice processes.
  • Assist in internal and external financial reporting where required.

About you:

  • A minimum of 3 years Bookkeeping or Accounts Payable experience.
  • Strong computer literacy skills including Xero, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently, within prescribed timeframes with a high level of accuracy.
  • The ability to work independently with limited supervision, with great customer service skills and attitude.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills with a high level of initiative.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
