Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking expressions of interest from skilled and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Resource Scheduler to support our expanding operations in the Mechanical and Road Infrastructure industries.
Location: Perth-based with occasional site travel
Roster: Monday to Friday, with flexibility as required
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project scheduling for local government, civil, and major infrastructure projects
- Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues and coordinate works
- Liaise with workers to ensure expectations and timelines are met
- Develop scopes of work in line with MRWA and client specifications
- Oversee daily stock control, material ordering, and forecasting
- Schedule site crews, sub-contractors, and daily logistics
- Maintain quality control across all scheduled works
- Review and reconcile client RFQs and RFTs
- Delegate and manage project and departmental costs
- Perform cost and revenue reconciliation and reporting
- Support recruitment and process weekly wages
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Monitor and manage driver fatigue compliance
- Ensure adherence to Main Roads WA Accreditation and Dangerous Goods licensing
- Develop and maintain employee training matrices
- Maintain vehicle registers and schedule vehicle maintenance
- Prepare and manage site mobilisation paperwork for mine sites
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in resource scheduling or project coordination
- Strong understanding of MRWA standards and civil project requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
- Experience with scheduling software and project management tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
