Workforce Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our national workforce planning team.

This role involves managing the supply and demand of our workforce, ensuring seamless roster management within our Ground Star system. You will process shift changes, updates, training, overtime, and leave requests while reviewing supply and demand to meet operational staffing needs.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Administering staff/roster movements and allocating labour hire and overtime, adhering to all relevant business requirements.
  • Maintaining data integrity in systems and providing input into creating rosters.
  • Serving as the primary contact for staff queries related to published rosters.
  • Updating systems with accurate staff allocation and shifts.
  • Covering absenteeism, uploading labour hire data, and preparing day sheets for all areas of the business.
  • Providing regular feedback on allocation processes to improve resource scheduling and costs.
  • Maintaining knowledge of EBA and Industrial Relations requirements for payroll compliance.
  • Reporting on system and process improvements.
  • Delivering high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in workforce planning, preferably in a similar role with high volume demands.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in resource allocation.
  • Day of operations planning and live task allocation experience is highly regarded.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivation, proactive attitude, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • Availability for day shifts across 7-day coverage.
