About The Role
Airport Development Group (ADG) is seeking an experienced
Projects Cost Controller
to join our Corporate Services team. This position plays a key role in providing accurate and reliable cost control for ADG's capital projects, supporting confident decision-making and financial reporting across all stages of project delivery.
Reporting to the
Finance Business Partner – Assets
, you'll work closely with Project Managers, Finance, and senior stakeholders to monitor project expenditure, manage budgets and forecasts, and ensure financial discipline across ADG's capital portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Partnering with Project Managers and Finance to provide accurate, timely financial information on all active projects.
- Developing, managing, and updating project budgets and forecasts, including contingency and capitalisation processes.
- Monitoring expenditure and commitments, analysing cost trends, and identifying potential risks or variances.
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies, delegations, and accounting standards.
- Raising and managing purchase orders, receipting, and invoice matching.
- Preparing monthly reports, KPIs, and project cost updates.
- Supporting internal and external audit processes and maintaining robust financial controls.
About You
You're a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a project environment. You enjoy working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and have strong analytical and communication skills.
To Be Successful, You'll Bring
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years' post-qualification experience, ideally within a large asset or capital project environment.
- Strong understanding of project cost control principles and financial systems.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and practical experience using corporate ERP systems (TechnologyOne experience desirable).
- Eligibility to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (includes police record check).
