About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Haematology Consultant within our highly skilled Haematology Unit.

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to excel in both clinical and laboratory settings, with a focus on 'malignant haematology', haemostasis/thrombosis and laboratory haematology. You will collaborate with leading professionals, pioneers in their respective fields and shape the future of healthcare in South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• provide specialist haematology consultation and treatment services
• participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical decision-making
• supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees
• contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance
• engage in teaching and research activities

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.

The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.
