About the Role
As a CAR T-Cell Nurse Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert clinical care to patients with haematological malignancies, while supporting their families and guiding healthcare teams across CALHN. You will provide leadership in the development and enhancement of specialist services, implementing evidence-based practices aligned with clinical guidelines and Optimal Care Pathways. In this role, you will be a trusted resource, offering expert advice, developing and evaluating complex care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of safe, patient-centred care.
You will also lead innovation and service improvement initiatives, including nurse-led clinics, multidisciplinary team meetings, and clinical projects that advance CAR T-Cell care across the organisation. This position provides a unique opportunity to use your specialist expertise to mentor colleagues, optimise patient outcomes, and contribute to shaping the future of haematology nursing services. About You
You're an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse who demonstrates strong leadership, advanced clinical knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred cancer care. You thrive in a collaborative environment, guiding and supporting others while ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
Registered Nurse with post-graduate qualifications in cancer nursing or related field
Experienced in haematology, oncology, stem cell transplant or CAR-T therapy
Strong leadership, communication and change management skills within multidisciplinary teams
Committed to clinical excellence, staff development and continuous quality improvement
