- We are seeking a talented individual to join our Multinational Risk Management team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This is a 12 months FTE role.
This role will be for an early career broker who is looking to improve their skill set across a range of insurance and non-insurance products for a variety of industries. The candidate is required to be an organised self-starter who is motivated to proactively manage the interactions with our client as a part of a team and work to strengthen and grow account relationships.
We will count on you to:
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and proactively responding to them.
- Implement renewal and broking strategies tailored to client requirements.
- Process billing requests and gather information for quotes efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurers and assist in negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with our overseas offices.
- Manage outstanding renewals, credit control, and necessary reporting for the client portfolio.
- Recognize and act on new business opportunities in a timely manner, introducing new products or broader policies as appropriate.
What you need to have:
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly.
