Osborne Richardson are delighted to bring two fantastic Biodiversity Advice and Planning roles to the market in Brisbane. Not only are these roles best in class, but they are also with one of our most trusted and progressive clients, the City of Moreton Bay. Ideally located, growing rapidly and innovating always, these roles will place you into the best position for your career to accelerate rapidly.

In your new role as Principal or Senior Biodiversity Planner/Advisor, you will provide planning expertise and lead the delivery of highly complex environmental and biodiversity planning projects and services to meet the needs of the organisation and the community within the City of Moreton Bay area. Both roles will run for an initial contract period of 6 months however, we do expect the outcome for both to be long-term contract and conversion to permanent employment ultimately,

During the course of your role, you will undertake a variety of duties, including:

  • Acting as a technical expert and providing leadership and direction to team members in the delivery of integrated environmental and biodiversity planning outcomes across the region and within the MBRC organisation.
  • Providing expert advice in environmental and biodiversity planning matters in accordance with legislative, policy and business requirements.
  • Leading the delivery of highly complex environmental and biodiversity planning projects and specialist project teams (including external consultants) to achieve strategic and business outcomes.
  • Taking a leadership role in the development and support of team capability to drive a high performance, continuous improvement and customer focused culture.

Anyone know knows Osborne Richardson, knows that we have an amazing reptation with candidates for supporting them for any role they are interested in pursuing. This will be no different. We also have the best reputation in Australia with our clients, who know we will not send them candidates who do not meet their brief or are not the best in the market. It's something we are extremely proud to be known for and are fiercely protective of. With this in mind, we would ask you to carefully review the following key selection criteria against your own skills and experience:

  1. Relevant degree qualification to fulfil the position requirements.
