Workfast is looking for Site *Boilermakers and Weldersfor the major project around Mount Gambier, SA.*

  • *$54 per hour*+ penalties + superannuation
  • Overtime opportunity

We are working on behalf of our client, who is a successful, well-known and reputable nationwide business that covers industrial, construction, and environmental services and is seeking multiple positions to join their team on a major project. 

The ideal candidate will come with strong references and possess an impeccable safety record.

What you need:

  • Australia's full working rights
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • White card
  • Minimum 3 years of Structural Steel Fabrication
  • Knowledge of safety design in construction, maintenance, and operation.
  • Clear pre-employment Medical Check and D&A check
  • Willing to undergo a National Police check
  • Dog man and rigger ticket - desire
  • Forklift licence
  • EWP and Working at height
  • Crane operating experience

Responsibilities:

  • Structural Steel Fabrication
  • Fabrication and Boilermaking/Welding
  • Should be competent to read drawings and work independently
  • Ability to interpret detail shop drawings and specifications.
  • Welding beams and cutting steel
  • Manufacturing and installation
  • Fabricating the frame and structure on-site
  • Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding duties
  • Complete ad hoc duties as assigned by the site supervisor
