Boilermaker/Tradesperson
As a qualified Boilermaker, you'll play a key role in overseeing jobs, mentoring the trainee, and working closely with the Workshop Manager to streamline operations. This is more than just a job – it's an opportunity to shape the future of FABX and help build the business from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide the Trainee Boilermaker, ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Collaborate with the Workshop Manager to plan and execute jobs efficiently
- Fabricate and weld structural steel, machinery components, and other custom projects
- Ensure all jobs meet safety and quality standards
- Assist in refining workshop processes to improve productivity
What We're Looking For:
- Trade qualification in Boilermaking (Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication)
- Experience in fabrication and welding (MIG/TIG/Stick)
- Strong problem-solving and lateral thinking skills
- Fitter experience and knowledge (huge bonus)
- Ability to take initiative and help grow the business
