BSKT Café is seeking a Head Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team

We are a vibrant and popular beachside health café located in Nobby Beach, Gold Coast, known for our wholefood-focused, specialised menu and commitment to high-quality, nourishing food.

This is a full-time position, 5 days a week with no evening shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of consistently high food standards.

To be considered, applicants must have:

  • 1 year minimum of proven experience in a similar role in a cafe style environment
  • Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery and a Diploma in Hospitality Management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train kitchen staff
  • Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
  • Good communication and coordination with FOH staff
  • Ability to manage stock ordering and kitchen efficiency

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

Salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
