About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will work from Wednesday to Friday and Sunday, ensuring continuity of care and professional pharmacy services for our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the dispensary team to provide efficient, accurate and timely dispensing upholding to professional standards.
  • Provide professional health services and medication counselling to patients.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with the local community.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, legislative requirements and Pharmacy Board regulations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacy assistants and dispensary staff with best practice
  • Adopt a proactive mindset to continue to grow and improve dispensary operations.
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels, ordering, and effective inventory management.

Essential Requirements

  • Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA and no restrictions on practice.
  • Current professional indemnity insurance.
  • Minimum 2 years Pharmacist experience in Australia.
  • Exceptional knowledge of scheduled medicines and OTC products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive, professional, and customer-first approach.
