Dermalogica Business Consultant – 12-Month Maternity Contract
North Brisbane, Sunshine coast, Townsville
We invite you to join our dynamic sales team and be part of Dermalogica's exciting growth journey.
As a Business Consultant with a Beauty Therapy background, your mission is to nurture existing accounts, drive sales growth, and deliver exceptional customer service, while also leading new business acquisition through proactive prospecting and face-to-face cold calling. You'll educate prospective clients on the value of becoming a Dermalogica business partner and play a pivotal role in expanding our professional network.
The Role
In this rewarding sales role, you will:
- Achieve sales goals through the growth of new and existing business.
- Actively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with a focus on face-to-face cold calling and territory prospecting.
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
- Collaborate with business partners to create actionable development plans.
- Implement and support new promotions and product launches.
- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly reports on partner activity and opportunities.
- Participate in and support educational programs, trade shows, and promotional events.
- Use reports and CRM to analyse, forecast, and monitor account activity.
- Represent Dermalogica as a global leader in professional skin care through your sales activity and relationship building.
The Candidate
Our ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional with experience managing a territory within the skin care, hair or health industries. Previous beauty therapy and management experience within the professional skin care industry together with a strong business acumen and a desire to become a sales professional will see you considered for this role. Self-motivation is key, as is the desire to seek opportunities and convert leads and prospects into business partners. We value team players and seek a candidate who understands and can accommodate the many desires of a diverse territory within the professional skin care industry.
- Certificate IV, Diploma in Beauty Therapy, dermal therapist preferred.
- Proven experience managing a sales territory within the skin care, hair, or health industries.
- Previous experience as a skin Therapist, ideally with management exposure in the professional skin care sector.
- Results-driven and energised by face-to-face cold calling, prospecting, and converting leads into business partners.
- Self-motivated with strong business acumen and a passion for sales success.
- Skilled in CRM use and confident navigating business tools.
- A team player who thrives both autonomously and collaboratively.
We value the insights gained through daily communications with our existing and potential customers, therefore previous experience and a commitment to working with a CRM is fundamental. As are moderate IT skills which will allow you to navigate and share the abundance of business tools available on our network.
