About the Role

To ensure the efficient and timely delivery of landscape projects, foster client relationships, support business development, and contribute to the organisation's reputation through high-quality design, documentation, and project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Projects & Delivery: Oversee projects across various scales, ensuring they meet budget and schedule parameters; maintain accurate entries for timesheets and invoicing.
  • Design Excellence: Lead design and development phases, ensuring consistently exceptional deliverables across the studio.
  • Business Development & Commercial: Identify new opportunities and prepare submissions (subject to principal approval).
  • Client Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Landscape Architectural Duties: Conduct site inspections, cost planning, product sourcing, documentation, detailing, and specification writing.
  • People Management: Mentor, assess, and develop team members.
  • Communication & Representation: Engage professionally with colleagues and clients; uphold a positive image of the practice in all areas of work.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced technical skills in design, construction techniques, and relevant software.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities.
  • Effective delegation and time management to meet deadlines and align with project scope.
  • Strong written and oral communication, along with presentation skills.
  • 8–12 years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
  • Track record in managing projects from concept through delivery, including staff and project management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, or an equivalent qualification (e.g., Architecture combined with horticulture or ecology training).
