The Role

We are seeking a Studio Assistant / Receptionist who will be the welcoming face of our studio and the backbone of our administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in administration, front-of-house, or hospitality, who is passionate about creating positive first impressions and supporting a busy design team.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet clients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and a hospitality mindset

· Manage all incoming calls, emails, and meeting room bookings efficiently

· Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised reception and studio space at all times

· Assist with printing, preparing, and delivering presentation materials

· Provide administrative support to designers and architects, including document management, filing, and supplier coordination

· Use Adobe InDesign and Photoshop for basic layout, image editing, and presentation support

· Ensure smooth day-to-day studio operations and proactively address team needs

Qualifications & Skills

· Previous experience in administration, front-of-house, or hospitality is highly desirable

· Experience in a creative or design studio environment is a plus

· Confident using Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new digital tools

· Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign (Photoshop experience advantageous)

· Intermediate proficiency in Adobe InDesign is required for layout and design tasks

· Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently

· Tech-savvy and eager to support studio operations

· Australian work rights are essential for this position
