Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Scout Studios Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Scout Studios is looking for our next Studio Lead to join our community-focused Pilates, Yoga, Barre and Wellness Studios in the Inner West of Sydney.

Our Studio Leads are our main faces on the ground at their home studio: forging client relationships and ensuring the smooth management of their home location.

Aside from front desk duties, they work with our Head of Operations and other Studio Leads to ensure client satisfaction and care standards are met, implement strategies to ensure sales targets are met, ensure basic cleaning and maintenance at their studio, and perform administrative tasks that support the studio.

Our Leads also assist management with coordinating the fun stuff - think workshops, teacher trainings, day retreats, and studio celebrations.

The role will require a proactive approach to studio management, managing multiple responsibilities at a time to ensure a seamless studio experience for customers and staff.

This role will require working on-site with set hours during Scout business hours - so please be prepared to work early mornings, evenings and one weekend day every week.

WHAT'S GREAT ABOUT THIS ROLE:

  • Amazing community of clients and instructors
  • Mix of customer service and administration duties
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Regular team connects
  • Free Pilates & Yoga membership

  • Ensure Scout policies are followed by Studio Representatives
  • Provide personalised care for introductory members
  • Follow up feedback for events
  • Educating clients on what's on at the studio - you'll be one of their cheerleaders to try new things

Basic studio maintenance:

  • Ensuring overall cleanliness of the studio and organising repairs where required
  • Stocktake and inventory orders
  • Ordering supplies for the daily requirements of the studio

Studio management:

  • Follow systems to ensure teachers have what they need during their shifts
  • Ensure covers are found for your home location when required, being proactive and responsive to changes in schedule
  • Report to Head of Operations any issues with class attendance and staffing
  • Follow up outstanding charges and membership fees
  • Support any marketing or sales campaigns as directed by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Google Suite and Momence or equivalent studio/salon management software
  • Excellent customer service history a must
  • Experience managing a salon, studio, gym or practice preferable.
  • Optional: we welcome qualified Pilates, yoga or barre teachers who may wish to combine teaching with the role.
