Position Overview:

As a Front-end Software Developer, you will design, develop, modify, test, and support user-facing software applications and systems in line with user requirements and technical specifications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including back-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality digital health products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain our web and native iOS, Android, Windows, Mac applications using React Native, Expo and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to implement high-quality user interfaces.
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
  • Implement and maintain state management solutions such as Redux, Recoil, or Zustand.
  • Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and scalability across devices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
  • Collaborate on CI/CD processes, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in front-end and mobile development.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years in React Native.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience with mobile app development, debugging, and profiling tools (e.g., Flipper, Xcode, Android Studio).
  • Familiarity with UI libraries and frameworks.
  • Understanding of mobile app distribution via App Store and Google Play.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern authentication flows (OAuth, JWT).
  • Strong grasp of responsive design and mobile UX principles.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and agile development workflows.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Positive skills assessment from the Australian Computer Society (ACS) is highly regarded
