The Glen Hotel is seeking an experienced Senior Retail Bottle Shop and Drive Thru Manager to join our award-winning venue in Eight Mile Plains. We're an all-encompassing destination featuring our Deck Bar, Charles Baker Coffee & Donut Shop, Lily Restaurant, Gaming Room, 4.5-star accommodation as well as 5 diverse event spaces and a drive-thru bottle shop.

The Glen is an independent venue, owned by the same family for over 62 years. We are an essential part of our local community, and our team has a genuine passion for hospitality -creating a place where customers feel welcome and comfortable, with a focus on delivering exceptional service alongside our strong food and beverage offerings.

About The Role

We're looking for someone with a strong background in bottle shops who knows how to communicate and connect with regulars as well as our awesome team to bring it all together.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, your primary responsibility is to eƯiciently operate the drive-thru bottle shop with an emphasis on customer service and meeting the needs of the varied clientele.

Minimum Requirements

We're looking for someone with the following:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • A sincere and deliberate focus on building rapport with customers
  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Focused on driving performance and increasing sales

  • Full or flexible availability to fulfill a variety of rotating rostered shifts across evenings, weekends and public holidays in conjunction with the Bottle Shop's operating hours.

  • RSA certification

  • Forklift License (preferred)
  • A genuine passion and enthusiasm for our industry
