We are seeking a skilled and talented Chef de Partie to join our innovative kitchen team at Flying Brick Cider House. You will be passionate about creating amazing food, working efficiently and effectively, highly motivated and a true hospitality professional who will perfectly complement our unique venue.
All about the role:
- Assist the team with menu preparation and ensuring adequate supplies are available for expected service
- Assist in designing and creating modern trending seasonal dishes using local, regional and organic supplies
- Liaise with the Front of House employees regarding the availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changes
- Maintain excellent presentation standards and cost control whilst maintaining recipe standards
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy & ensuring all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned to OHS standards
All about you:
- Previous experience as a Demi or Chef de Partie
- Trade qualifications
- Passion for developing junior team members
- Great communication skills and ability to keep cool, calm and collecting under pressure
- Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
- Excellent organisational skills & grooming standards
- Ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP requirements
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Full working rights in Australia
