Pymble, New South Wales, Australia Easy Care Gardening Inc Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

The Organisation

Since 1988, Easy Care Gardening (ECG) has supported older people across Sydney's lower and upper north shore. We are a for-purpose, not-for-profit organisation delivering services under the Department of Health and Aged Care's Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). ECG promotes physical activity, client choice, and shared learning while making gardens safer and more enjoyable. We help clients build social connections, a sense of purpose, and belonging, supporting them to feel more in control of their lives. We uphold clients' dignity and independence, working collaboratively so older people can take part in services, share their skills, and learn new ones. With Australia's aging and increasingly isolated population, maintaining gardens can improve physical and mental wellbeing, enhance community connections, and support independence, reducing the need for earlier transitions to residential aged care and improving quality of life for clients, their families, and the broader community.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills and career in the community and social sector. As an Administration Officer, you will provide excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail in office administration to support ECG in meeting funding, agreement, and aged care standards requirements, while contributing to organisational goals and best practice. You will join a collaborative admin team responsible for client and volunteer intake, data management, reporting, invoicing, and general office administration. In this role, you will work closely with the Volunteer Program Lead to support ECG's diverse volunteer and community programs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support volunteer programs, including engagement, recognition, and program initiatives.

Provide responsive and professional support to clients, volunteers, and staff.

Oversee administrative systems, workflows, and records to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Facilitate client enquiries, referrals, and service administration, including invoicing.

Contribute to reporting, compliance, and organisational processes under CHSP and aged care standards.

Coordinate office operations, communications, and scheduling, including meetings onsite or via video conference.

About You

Proven success in an administration officer role or similar with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong time management, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and schedule management skills.

Experience performing administrative tasks in an office environment and supporting colleagues.

Aptitude for learning new systems.

Desirable: experience working with older people, in aged care or community services, and understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.

What We Offer

Part-time role – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (other days considered)

Salary packaging options to increase take-home pay

Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

On-the-job training and development opportunities

A meaningful role where your work directly supports older people and the local community

Other Requirements

Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

National Police Check and WWC (or equivalent) clearance

How to Apply

Please submit your CV and a short cover letter outlining your interest and suitability for the role.
