We're looking for a dynamic and values-driven Team Leader to guide our Northern Futures program to support people experiencing disadvantage to access meaningful training and employment opportunities.
About the RoleAs the Team Leader – Northern Futures, you will:
- Lead a small, dedicated team delivering person-centred support to job seekers in Geelong's northern suburbs.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with local industry, training providers, and community stakeholders.
- Oversee program operations, compliance, and reporting in line with funding and strategic priorities.
- Advocate for participant voice and drive community engagement to increase local employment participation.
This role sits within Meli's People and Capability Directorate and plays a key role in aligning the Northern Futures program with broader organisational goals.
Position Details- Ongoing position
- 1 FTE working 38 hours per week
- $119,080 p/a + Super + Salary Packaging

We value leaders who are collaborative, strategic, and committed to inclusion. To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Education, Social Work, Human Services or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in complex service delivery environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and established links within the Geelong community.
- Proven ability to manage program operations, compliance, and reporting.
- A commitment to child safety, cultural safety, and inclusive practice.
