About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in Brisbane. In this role, you will work directly with clients to provide high-quality support, fostering their independence and enhancing their quality of life. Whether assisting with daily living activities or supporting community engagement, you'll play a vital role in making a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support in line with individual support plans.
  • Assist with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support clients to engage in social, recreational, and community activities.
  • Facilitate skill development and independence in everyday tasks.
  • Assist with transportation to appointments or outings, if required.
  • Uphold client dignity, confidentiality, and rights at all times.
  • Monitor and report on clients' progress, health, or concerns to relevant team members.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety standards and NDIS guidelines.

About You

We're looking for empathetic and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting others. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Essential:
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support and Mental Health, or related field.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening Check).
  • Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including high needs or complex behaviours. especilly mental health persons
  • Knowledge of NDIS practices and guidelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
