Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centered support to individuals with disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Facilitate community participation and social inclusion
  • Document and report on participant progress and any changes in their needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Travel to remote communities accross Northern Territory

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in disability support or a related field is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Relevant certifications and clearances
  • Have studied or willing to enroll for Yulungu studies

Experience:

  • Support worker: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Fluent English and willing to learn Yulungu Language (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • Working with Children Check (Preferred)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Preferred)
  • National Police Certificate (Preferred)
  • Driver Licence (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (Preferred)
