We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of a utility-scale solar and battery storage project in the Shepparton region. As part of an established owner/operator, you'll play a key role in managing the safe, timely, and cost-effective construction of projects that contribute to Victoria's renewable energy future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of solar and BESS construction activities across site
  • Oversee subcontractors, and consultants to ensure quality, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and progress reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Chair site meetings, coordinate with engineering, procurement, and grid connection teams
  • Drive site safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company standards
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, including landowners, regulators, and local community representatives
  • Oversee project handover from construction into commissioning and operations

About You

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Site Manager on utility-scale solar, BESS, or HV infrastructure projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors
  • Solid knowledge of construction methodologies, quality assurance, and safety management systems
  • Experience in contract administration and working closely with EPC or subcontractors
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Relevant qualification in engineering, construction, or trade background (preferred but not essential)
