What You'll Do:
  • Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults across various makes and models of heavy trucks and trailers.
  • Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and more—building on your existing experience with light vehicles.
  • Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of heavy vehicles.
  • Use advanced diagnostic scan tools to assist with precision repairs.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace in line with compliance and safety regulations.
  • Work smart and efficiently without compromising the high standard of workmanship.
  • Be open to learning and growth, while also sharing your light vehicle knowledge with team members.
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent).
  • Strong diagnostic and repair experience with a willingness to upskill to heavy diesel.
  • Motivated, reliable, and passionate about progressing your mechanical career.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team-focused environment.
