We're looking for a talented and passionate Accounts Payable professional to join our full time team.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our Finance Team. This role offers the successful candidate the ability to manage Accounts Payable with even more opportunity available to the right person across more than just the fundamentals of Accounts Payable.

You will be working closely with and under the direct guidance of our CFO. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is an energetic professional with a positive approach.

Roles & Responsibilities

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Processing invoices due for payment including matching, batching and coding of invoices
  • Assisting with the obligations to suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors
  • Preparing and reviewing payment runs
  • Reviewing daily bank transactions
  • Verifying transactions are recorded correctly
  • Reconciling supplier statements to ensure all payments are accounted for
  • Managing supplier queries with a professional and solution based approach
  • Reporting on the weekly status of Accounts Payable
  • Assisting in process improvements to enhance efficiency within AP functions
  • Assisting with General Administrative duties for the Finance Department
  • Assisting Managing Directors and CEO with administrative tasks as required

About You

  • At least 3 years' experience in a fast paced Accounts Payable role with demonstrated experience in high-volume invoice processing
  • Experience in managing the complete accounts payable process from invoice receipt to payment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong data input accuracy
  • Exceptional time-management
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working in an office environment
  • Certificate in Bookkeeping (preferred)
  • Experience with MYOB Acumatica (preferred but not essential)

Position Details

  • Permanent role with immediate start
  • Monday to Friday in office, 5 days per week
