About the role

We are on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our award-winning and fast-paced Montalto team in Red Hill.

As Restaurant Manager, you'll report directly to the Venue Manager, helping oversee operations for one of our restaurants, The Piazza.

The Piazza is a family friendly, mostly outdoor restaurant with an emphasis on Italian style cuisine. Open 7 days per week, open 11am – 5pm. A premium-casual and high-volume restaurant that links together with our sculpture trail and picnic offering.

This hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in busy environments and knows how to get the best from their team. You'll help drive performance and training across the restaurants and lead your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Rosters are approximately 38-42 per hours week, including weekends and public holidays. A mostly daytime roster, occasionally working a function, as well as our twilight programme (Saturdays till 8pm from January – March).

What You'll Bring


• Proven experience managing high-volume restaurants; with at least 1-2 years in an Assistant Manager or equivalent leadership role.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, develop, and motivate large teams, ensuring our positive culture and values are maintained


• Strong knowledge of workforce planning, stock control, compliance (OHS, RSA, first aid), and proficient in POS, reservations, and rostering systems (e.g. SevenRooms, Deputy, Square etc.)


• High-level customer service standards and a passion for hospitality with excellent communication, conflict resolution & organisational skills


• A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities
