Finance and Customer Service Officer

Do you have an interest in the waste management industry and have experience in payroll and accounts payable/receivable? Are you skilled in communication in person, on the phone and online?

Your key responsibilities

  • Payroll - process fortnightly payroll for ~25 employees.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable - process fortnightly and monthly invoicing to suppliers
  • Procurement - Assist the managers in maintaining procurement contracts and register.
  • Governance - Ensure all record keeping documentation is completed.
  • Council Meetings - prepare the agenda for 6 Ordinary Council Meetings per year, co-ordinating with host councils, organising Special Council Meetings as required.
  • Office Management - assist with the general running of the administrative office, welcoming visitors and provide hospitality when required.
  • Assisting the Manager Corporate Services as required.
  • Salary - commences at $79, Superannuation 12% + optional Employer contribution 5%
