Regional Fire Protection is a family owned and operated company that is currently experiencing significant growth.  We are a young and dynamic team with a focus on customer service and a drive to continually exceed expectations.  We offer a range of services, specializing in the service and maintenance of fire protection equipment (both wet and dry).

Regional Fire Protection is seeking an Fire Technician to join their Mildura Based team.  This is a full-time position.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Servicing, maintaining and modifying fire systems and equipment
  • Install, maintain, and repair fire service equipment in accordance with AS1851 and AS1670.
  • Performing on site callouts with the ability to diagnose and repair failures
  • Testing fire systems in accordance with the relevant standards
  • Liaising with management and the client to ensure the job is completed in a timely manner and to our high-quality expectations.
  • Coordinating, compiling and submitting the necessary paperwork and other procedures

To be successful, previous experience working in the Fire Protection Industry would be highly commended including working with fire panels and the ability to install, test and repair fire systems/equipment with understanding of Australian Standards such as AS1851, and knowledge of fire safety codes/regulations.

You will be presentable, reliable, able to work in a team and individual environment and demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude.  A focus on customer service with strong verbal and communication skills is paramount.

Accreditation with FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) would be well regarded.

Remuneration will be negotiated depending on experience.
