The Role

Based in a well-equipped on-site workshop, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and major repairs of our fleet of agricultural and winery equipment. You'll work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, ensuring our machinery operates safely and efficiently—especially during peak harvest periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose faults and perform mechanical repairs across a range of equipment.
  • Overhaul engines and replace key components (clutches, brakes, bearings, etc.).
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized workshop operations.
  • Accurately record all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational protocols.
  • Work rotating shifts, including extended hours and weekends when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Fully qualified Diesel Mechanic with relevant trade certifications.
  • Proven experience servicing and repairing agricultural vehicles or winery machinery.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and at heights when required.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality.
  • Excellent time-management and communication skills.

  • Positive attitude and a team-focused mindset.

  • Forklift licence or Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence.

Work Environment

  • Primarily workshop-based with some outdoor work.
  • Involves physical tasks including lifting, confined spaces, and elevated work.
  • Rotating shifts and extended hours may be required during harvest and peak periods.
