The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Service Technician to join our growing team. This role involves the installation and servicing of height safety and confined space equipment such as anchor points, static lines, guardrails, walkways, access ladders and gas detection equipment and breathing apparatus.
You will work on a variety of projects across commercial, industrial, and government sites throughout Tasmania.
The ideal candidate will have pervious experience in height safety installation, roofing, construction trade or similar.
Key Responsibilities
Install and service height safety, fall protection and confined space access systems to our clients
- Conduct site assessments and prepare work areas safely
- Read and interpret installation drawings and plans
- Use hand tools, power tools, and access equipment safely and effectively
- Work at heights and in diverse site environments, including confined space.
- Collaborate with clients and team to identify and address height and confined space safety concerns and needs.
- Complete required documentation and compliance paperwork.
About You
- Previous experience in construction, roofing, rigging, or a similar trade
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces with a strong safety focus
- White Card (Construction Induction) required (or willingness to obtain)
- Working at Heights qualification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Working in Confined Spaces qualification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver's licence
- Strong safety mindset, physical fitness and great communication skills
