In this pivotal role the successful incumbent will coordinate and deliver a range of initiatives across planning, design and construction. What You'll Need
To make an impact as our new Senior Project Officer, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in project management, construction or a relevant discipline or 5 + years' experience and knowledge in the delivery of capital works projects.
  • Highly developed conceptual and analytical ability and able to synthesise data and outcomes into reports and presentations.
  • Highly developed written communication, and research skills including data analysis and reporting.
  • Highly developed ability to manage complex projects and deliver required outcomes and priorities.
  • Advanced interpersonal and verbal communication skills and ability to consult, facilitate, engage, influence and build effective working relationships and partnerships at all levels and with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Highly developed strategic planning and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation including with staff, management, executive and Council.
  • Current driver's licence.
