Paradise Lakes Care Centre is seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Manager (Registered Nurse) to join our leadership team. If you're ready to lead with purpose and make a meaningful impact in aged care, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Care, you'll oversee the clinical operations of our facility, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for every resident. As a key leader, you will mentor the care team, manage compliance and infection control processes, and drive clinical excellence in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the care team to deliver safe, individualised care
  • Develop and oversee care plans, clinical assessments, and interventions
  • Act as the Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Lead, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Supervise staff and manage shift allocation to meet resident needs
  • Monitor incidents, risks, and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and external health providers
About You

Essential:

  • Registered Nurse (AHPRA) with minimum 2 years' experience (1+ in aged care)
  • IPC Lead training or willingness to obtain
  • Strong clinical leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication, time management, and decision-making abilities
  • Australian citizenship, PR, or valid work rights

Desirable:

  • Experience in care coordination and team supervision
  • Knowledge of AN-ACC funding and aged care compliance
  • High computer literacy and clinical software proficiency
