About Us?

The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.

Established in 2025, Staying Deadly|headspace Deception Bay is a place for young Mob to feel safe and to belong. We provide a space where young people can gather, yarn, learn, laugh, heal and play.  The service supports Aboriginal and Torres strait Islander young people aged 12-25 years, and their friends and family, with a focus on four key areas – mental health and well-being, physical and sexual health, work and study, and alcohol and drugs.
