At Palm Lake Care Deception Bay, we're currently seeking Casual Housekeeping Attendants who are passionate about helping others and creating a comfortable, clean environment for our residents.

In aged care, cleanliness is directly tied to health and wellbeing. As part of our housekeeping team, you'll play a key role in maintaining a hygienic and welcoming community. Your responsibilities will include daily cleaning of resident suites and common areas—vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and waste removal—all of which contribute to a safe and healthy home.

More Than Just Cleaning

Working in an aged care environment means being part of a broader mission to protect the health of some of our most vulnerable community members. You'll need initiative, problem-solving skills, and a clear understanding of hygiene, infection control, and the impact of cleaning products on elder health.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in cleaning, ideally within aged care
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their effect on elderly health
  • Strong hygiene standards
  • Eagerness to learn and grow
  • Good time management and initiative

All applicants must be able to provide a valid national police check and complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
