About Banking and Finance

Our Banking and Finance team advises on major domestic and cross-border transactions, with many of our lawyers having practised in Europe, Asia, the United States or in-house with our clients. Our strong relationships with global investment banks give us a broader perspective on their business outcomes, and we are one of the few firms in Australia that acts as counsel for all four major trading banks.

Our securitisation practice works with a wide range of issuers and financiers on complex financial structures, including cross-border and acquisition financing securitisations. We act for arrangers, dealers, warehouse financiers, trustees and advisers across a variety of asset classes, including residential and commercial mortgages, consumer finance and auto or equipment finance.

This role is with Stanley Mok, Partner in our Banking and Finance group. Stanley specialises in securitisation, structured finance and derivatives, and is trusted by clients for his technical expertise, commercial insight and deep market knowledge. He advises on market-leading securitisation programs and complex structured finance transactions, and is recognised by Chambers Asia-Pacific, The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific, IFLR1000 and The Best Lawyers in Australia as a leading lawyer in capital markets and structured finance.

About You

You are eager to work on high-profile, technically challenging matters in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will have:

  • Experience in securitisation, structured finance and derivatives
  • Outstanding drafting and analytical skills
  • The ability to build strong client relationships
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
