We're partnering with a leading ASX-listed organisation in the financial services sector to appoint a world-class Chief Marketing Officer. This is a rare opportunity to join a values-led business undergoing rapid transformation - where marketing is central to its future growth.

About the Opportunity

This is not your typical CMO role. We're looking for someone who sees marketing as a growth engine, not just a function. You'll drive an end-to-end B2C marketing capability that is strategically grounded, operationally scalable and culturally influential. You'll thrive in complexity - stitching together strategy, systems, data and people into one cohesive, high-performing leader.

What We're Looking For

Rather than anchoring on industry experience, we're focused on capability, trajectory and impact. We're open to unconventional paths like entrepreneurs, technologists or operators, as long as you've delivered exceptional outcomes and built marketing from the ground up.

You might be the right fit if you bring:

  • Commercial Acumen & Growth Mindset - you instinctively link brand, data and revenue. You know how to balance long-term brand building with short-term results. e.g. owned a P&L, scaled a business, bootstrapped a product, measured CAC to margin impact.
  • Depth of Thinking & Curiosity - you're a builder and a thinker - equally excited by high-level strategy and low-level optimisation. You seek clarity in complexity and apply rigor to creative problem-solving.
  • Operational Excellence at Scale - you design systems, codify learnings, implement frameworks and create marketing capability that doesn't rely on "unicorns".

    e.g. implemented CRM, built campaign engines, led marketing automation, codified best practices.
  • Transformational Leadership - you've elevated teams, not just led them. You shape culture, raise the bar, and influence beyond formal authority.
  • Trajectory & Grit - your story has demonstrated acceleration and resilience. We care more about your distance travelled than your starting point.
